HVAC: Smart and centralized control of all air-conditioning units and zones, ensuring maximum comfort while improving energy efficiency. Blinds & Shutters: Complete automation of motorized curtains, blinds, and shutters, with intelligent control based on user preferences, sunlight, privacy, and predefined scenes. Access Control & Security: Integration of the access control system with the KNX platform to provide secure and coordinated entry management. ABB Intercom: Integration of the ABB Intercom system to provide communication and visitor identification, with the ability to coordinate the intercom with other KNX functions and security scenarios. Electric Lock: Integration of the electric door lock with the access control/intercom system, allowing authorized users to unlock the entrance directly through the intercom while maintaining secure and controlled access. Integrated Security Scenarios: The different systems can work together through predefined scenarios—for example, when a visitor calls through the ABB Intercom, the user can view/identify the visitor and release the electric lock, while the system can simultaneously trigger the required lighting, camera, or security actions. This approach transforms the project from a collection of independent systems into a fully integrated smart building, where lighting, HVAC, shading, access, intercom, and security systems communicate and operate together through one intelligent KNX-based solution.
